After having read Hyland Spy recently, I could not wait for Highland Ruse to come out. Oh, and I was not disappointed. For, as wonderful as Hyland Spy was, Hyland Ruse was even better!
Well-crafted and heart-touching, Delilah and Kaid’s story was nearly impossible to put down. It’s full of adventure with very strong female characters.
Although it stands well on its own, you owe it to yourself to start with Highland Spy. It gives the reader a strong foundation for the rest of the series and gives Highland Ruse more depth than it already has.
