It was 1 am. I’d finished reading The Forgotten Prince a few minutes before. My cat was asleep against my left shoulder my husband was asleep against my right side.
And me? After I breathed a contented sigh for a story well done, I had to refrain from the impulse to stomp my feet because it was over and my emotions were swirling in my sleepy mind.
So, the cat and the husband slept undisturbed as I wondered what Ms. Crosby had in mind for Gwendolyn in the next installment of this fantastic series.
