Book Review: Marry Me Marquess by Misty Urban

Intelligently written, Marry Me, Marquess is a wonderful tale that kept me engaged from start to finish. It is filled with deep emotion and detailed information about the main characters’ first loves—his is antiquarianism, and hers is botany.

I tend to expect to be frustrated with the story based on a fake relationship. Instead, my curiosity was captivated. When two characters in a book share everything except their feelings for each other, I tend to wish I could bop them on the head and make them see some sense. In this story, though, it carries the plot along and helps understand their inner workings. So, I followed their tale and did not reach for a virtual 2×4 even once.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more of Ms. Urban’s work!
