May the Stars Light Your Way

For most people, yesterday was just May 4, 2024. Hopefully, for those, it was an ordinary Saturday.

For the rest of us, yesterday was May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day. (May the 4th be with you!)

And for some lucky few, it was a day to reminisce about a time (or two, or more for those really lucky) when we traveled among the stars.

Yes, I am talking about Disney’s Galactic Starcruiser.

Those of you who just rolled your eyes may now leave the room. The rest of you, come with me.

I see you. I hear you. I read your stories and love your photos. You are Romantics and Adventurers, Saja and Jedi, Smugglers and Musicians, Actors and Rebels, Crafters and Stormtroopers, Chefs and Twi’leks, Captains and Mechanics, Droids and Wookies, Doctors and Chemists, Guards and Travel Guides, First Order and Resistance, Cooks and Waitstaff, Bantha Activists and Galactic Superstar Superfans, and so much more.

You traveled from many corners of the earth to work and play among the stars.

We are those glimmering stars.

Yes, even you who followed your family on an adventure just because you love them.

And we walked among each other, shining brightly for all the world to see.

As we share our stories.

As we share our pictures.

As we raise our glasses and our lightsabers today and every day!
